O Shiva, worshipped by Rama, Lakshmana, Jatayu, and the Vedas
Worshipped by Lord Subramanya, the Sun and Kuja
The blue-throated and the ever-merciful One
I bow to you O Sri Vaidyanatha, O Shiva!
The One who controls the force of the Ganges flowing down his matted hair
The three-eyed God, Destroyer of Smara and Kala
The One worshipped by all the gods
I bow to you O Sri Vaidyanatha, O Shiva!
The Beloved of his devotees, the Destroyer of Tripura
Whose divine Pinaka bow puts an end to all evil
Who engages in divine play on this earth
I bow to you O Sri Vaidyanatha, O Shiva!
The One who removes all illness
Who is worshipped by scholars and sages
Whose eyes are the Sun, the Moon, and Fire,
I bow to you O Sri Vaidyanatha, O Shiva!
To those impaired in speech, hearing, sight and movement,
You bestow the boon of those abilities
You remove the most dreadful diseases
I bow to you O Sri Vaidyanatha, O Shiva!
The all-pervading One who can be contemplated through the Vedas,
Yogis meditate to perceive His lotus-like feet
The form of the Trimurtis, praised in a thousand names,
I bow to you O Sri Vaidyanatha, O Shiva!
Whose body is smeared in ash, earth, and holy water,
The Remover of fear, suffering, and evil influences
Whose form represents the soul, spread across the body
I bow to you O Sri Vaidyanatha, O Shiva!
The divine Lord with a blue throat, whose flag bears the symbol of an ox,
The Granter of good offspring, spouse, and prosperity
I bow to you O Sri Vaidyanatha, O Shiva!
The three names: Balambikesha, Vaidyesha, Bhavarogahara,
when chanted every day, will bring divine healing.
